229,483 Advertising calls despite objection in the TPS register
After several complaints that unsolicited advertising calls for maintenance and insurance for homeowners from Home Sure Solutions Ltd were reported to the UK’s data protection authority ICO, the latter launched investigations against the company.
During the investigation, it was found that between March 3 and September 30, 2020, the company had made 229,483 solicitation calls to individuals who had entered in the TPS register that they did not want to receive solicitation calls.
