Entirly Shipping & Trading SRL – 10,000 euro fine
The operator of the shipyard Entirly Shipping & Trading SRL was charged with three violations of the GDPR:
For the first violation, a warning was issued for failure to provide data protection notices to data subjects.
In the second case, a fine of approximately 5,000 euros was imposed because a video surveillance system was installed in locker rooms.
Last but not least, the shipyard operator received another fine of approximately 5,000 euros because personal data of a former employee were processed unlawfully by the company using these data in an e-mail correspondence.
The company has thus violated Art. 5, Art. 9, Art. 6 as well as Art. 13 of the GDPR.
