Social worker has to pay 482 Euros
A former social worker from the UK illegally requested data from vulnerable young people and sent it to an agency. This violation of Section 55 Data Protection Act (DPA 1998, UK national data protection law) was heard in court. The accused social worker pleaded guilty in this regard. A £ 412 fine (including a £ 48 victim surcharge) was imposed on the conviction.
