Penalty against car rental
A Czech car rental company was ordered to pay a fine of 30,000 crowns.
The company did not inform customers about the data processing, for example, GPS trackers were installed in vehicles without informing them in this regard. Customers were thus not required to specify the purpose or storage period of the transaction data and were thus also restricted in their data subject rights.
With easyGDPR, you can document your data collection in a legally compliant manner and thus present it during inspections by the data protection authorities, but also as information for your customers. The simple online tool can be ordered via our store .
