Penalty against private person in Germany
A private person from Germany sent e-mails to approx. 160 persons, whereby the recipients were not entered in the field BCC but CC, whereby each recipient could view all other message recipients. According to media reports, the accused has not changed his behavior after the fine and continues to send hundreds of e-mails a day to open mailboxes. The Data Protection Officer of Saxony-Anhalt, Harald von Bose, therefore, threatens to take further measures.
