The operator had a permanent video surveillance. Guests were also filmed in the bathing area, but not in the locker area. Maintenance of the video surveillance system was carried out by an external company. However, no data processing agreement has been concluded for this operation. In addition, despite its obligation, the swimming facility company has not named a data protection officer. The State Data Protection Officer Brandenburg therefore imposed a fine of €12,000.

The fine was imposed in 2019, but was not released until 2020.
