Spain: Cookie-Banner causes 30.000€ fine for Vueling Airlines
Vueling Airlines SA (Vueling) recieved a GDPR fine. The Budget-Airline used a Cookie-Banner on its website. This banner informed the Users that, according to the Cookie Policy, Third Parties can access these Cookies. However, the company failed to include a Cookie Management System that allowed the Users to disable optional Tracking Cookies. The Users could only leave the site if they did not want to be tracked. The Spanish Data Protection Authority found this practice to be a violation of the GDPR and fined Vueling Airlines SA 30.000€
